APPLE CONNECT
Apple Connect is an added component to the iOS Contacts. Users can search for someone in contacts by their name or Apple Connect ID and seamlessly add all all their contact information available such as phone number, social media, email, and more.

For this project, I conducted user research, app design and redesign, interaction flow, wireframes, and prototype screens.
Problem
Many people have multiple means of contact, whether it be their Facebook account, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, email, or phone number. Searching for and adding all of these can be very tedious and frustrating.
Research
This project was my first experience working with the user-centered design process. Before conducting user research to find out the necessary information to create a solution that our intended stakeholders need, I already had created a solution:
At the time, I was excited about my solution and didn't think I needed to change anything. However, this project was for my Intellectual Foundations course, and as part of the rubric we were required to conduct user research.

I interviewed two other students and a marketing manager to gain insight about personal and business use about my app:
​
1. They feel downloading a new app and creating another "@" name sounds like too much work.
​
2. They would like this if it was a feature already built into the phone.
​
3. Don't mix work and play -- keep it directed towards personal use, not business use.
